Well, I would imagine you are wondering what I am up to with this post?
I am VERY excited to be a "Guest Designer" for the next 3 months at
"Sparkle N Sprinkle"!!!!

I had so much fun working with their glitters, embossing powders and stamps
that I can hardly wait for "next" months "Reveal"..LOL!
But, let me show what I have for today!

I used the beautiful new stamp set Spring Window #704.
I loved the brick on the stamp and decided to somewhat "mimic" it
by using pieces of Tear-ific tape placed random on white card stock.
I added Parisian Mist  Glitter and had a nice sparkle brick for my background.

I stamped the Spring Window image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
I colored the image with Copics.
I used Brushable Glue on the flowers and added Bubble Gum glitter.
The flowers in the vase I used Dimensional Glue
then adding the same Bubble Gum glitter...
I love how this glue makes the flowers "3D".

The butterfly I die cut and it was
coated with Brushable Glue which
I sprinkled Bubble Gum glitter on.

I stamped my sentiment with Versamark
then, added Silver Detail embossing powder and heat set it.

Now head on over to Eret's blog to see her beautiful project.
Don't forget to leave a comment on EACH blog in the reveal
for a chance to win the entire release!

Hello Classy friends.
Diane with you today with my card for this weeks challenge
Bunny's Rule!

I think Spring and Easter go hand in hand and decided on
this cute Easter/Spring card!

I love all the shaker cards I have been seeing lately
and thought the Small Madison Window by PoppyStamps
would be perfect for one!
The glass behind the window is a piece of the packaging
that some of the dies/products arrive in...
nothing better then to recycle when you can!

I added the Small Madison Shutter, one on each side,
cut from a scrap of pink card stock.
I thought making the shutters pink would be fun for Easter!

Now the fun part!!
I have always wanted a window box, and this is the closest I will ever get..LOL!
The window was filled with a branch from Large Bird on a Branch die
by Impression Obsession.  I just snipped the poor birdie off
and stole his branch for my card!!
I used Impression Obsession Eggs from the die set
they were simply colored with markers.

Bunnies were added along with bits of grass,
both from the die set Mini Bunnies, also by Impression Obsession.

The sentiment Hoppy Easter is one I have had forever from my stash!!

Buds & Blossoms

Spring has sprung and all the little bunnies and chicks are hiding eggs!!
Easter will be here in a week
and those little chicks and bunnies will be here and gone!!

I have always loved the vintage Easter decorations....
maybe that ages me, but I don't care, it's true!!

I made an adorable set for Easter...
An Easter card with matching tag.

Such a pretty set of digitals, so hard to choose one for this project!
I printed in two sizes,
large for the card

 and smaller for the tag,

I printed these twice after using them on a project a few weeks ago HERE.
A beautiful paper to work with!!

I made a few flowers, including a daffodil
and added a few little die cut bunnies.
I framed both the larger and smaller egg with a die cut oval.
Glitter was painted on all the blue flowers, the ones in the image as well!

Don't forget next Monday, April 6th is our Crafty Secrets April linky party.
You won't want to miss it, as the entire DT will have amazing creations
along with tutorials on their blogs.
There is always a wonderful prize package to be won, just by joining in our linky party.
Plus we are joining with another blog using their products along with ours...

Smiles

This is my post on the Classy Cards 'n Such blog today!
Like what you see?
You can use my code DIANE-10
anytime to receive 10% off your order

Hello Classy Friends,
Diane here with you today.

Now that Spring is here I can hardly wait to get outside
and clean up the gardens in hope of soon seeing the Spring flowers arrive.
In the meantime I created my own blooms for today's card!

There are so many new items in the store, it was hard to choose which
flowers to work with, but choose I did
and ended up making the flowers you see here.
Aren't they gorgeous?

I used the new Sue Wilson dies Finishing Touches
One of the fun things about these dies, not only do you get 8
different sized dies to work within EACH set,
but, you can use them all separate and as many layers you might want
from one to eight!

My flowers were cut from red/white scrap paper for the complete petals
and white card stock for the open petals.
Gluing the flowers is easy, using a small amount of
Art Institute Dries Clear Adhesive in the center of each flower first,
then gluing each petal down one by one.
The red/white flowers are 4 layers, the little red flowers are 2 layers.
To finish, I added a Black Pearl to each flower center.

Once my flowers were complete, I set them aside to dry
and started on the base of my card.
Using Dazzling Sunburst embossing folder, I embossed white card stock.
Next is another newly purchased die

I also cut a few bright yellow Tall Chloe Stems,
well, they were tall, I cut most of the stems off,
as for this card I didn't want them to show!

After I was happy with the arrangement of the flowers,
I stamped a sentiment from JustRite Black-Eyed Susan set.

Ivy Vine Wreath

This is my post on the Dies R Us blog today.
I encourage you to "pop" on over
and not only see my post,
but what the other Design Team girls
have as well...
beautiful creations and inspiration for sure!!

Welcome Thursday and Dies R Us Friends!!
Diane with you today to hopefully inspire "YOU"
to get creative with the dies!!

I LOVE the Creative Expressions Sue Wilson dies
and after "seeing" Sue Wilson "herself" use this die
to make a wreath, I knew I wanted to make one as well!

To start, I first used two of the circle dies from
to cut a "frame" of sorts to build my wreath on.
I can't draw a free hand circle,
so this was a very handy way to form my wreath.
By laying one circle die inside the other, I had an "open"
frame to work with, allowing the paper to show underneath!

I cut 3 of the Creative Expressions ivy vines from the
I cut them apart in about 4 pieces each,
then sponging  shabby shutters distress ink on.
I arranged them on the frame, (TIP:) slightly gluing here and there
allows the leaves to pop up!

The card seemed a bit plain, so opted to add a few of
the ivy corners, pearls and a butterfly cut from Joy! Crafts butterfly die.

Thank you for visiting with me today.....take a peek at the Dies R Us store.
It is amazing how many different dies are in stock!

Don't forget we have a weekly challenge with a fabulous prize.
Come back and visit weekly to see all the beautiful designs the other
Dies R Us girls have to show you!!

Come Fly With Me

Hello Friends!
I am the hostess for our challenge at "The Sisterhood of Crafters"
and the theme I chose is "Come Fly With Me"!

When I chose this as our theme my idea was a hot air balloon
or something to that nature, but then remembered I had this
"hadn't been used" and "much neglected"
 Stampin' Up elegant bird die!!

I cut my bird from a scrap of SU paper,
and had a great time embellishing it with a feather,
My Favorite Things flourish, tiny yellow crochet doily,
yellow Rose, and a few tiny leaves.

The background is from an Impression Obsession gingham stamp,
stamped with SU Groovy Guava ink.
I stitched this onto SU So Saffron card stock a couple of times.

The sentiment, I love!
It's from B-Line Designs.

I finished with a bow and a few large sequins.
I really love how this card turned out!

Pop on over to "The Sisterhood" and see what my
teammates have to inspire YOU to join in!!

Spring Garden

This is my post today for our weekly challenge
"Fancy Pearls"
using the inspiration photo below.

Remember, you can use my code
DIANE-10 anytime to receive a 10%

Hello, Diane here with you today
with my card for this weeks challenge
"Fancy Pearls".

I created a fun garden scene!
I loved the tiny butterflies on the background paper I saw
as it reminds me so much of my own garden in the summer
full of butterflies.
This pack is full of soft and subtle designs.

No garden is complete without a bench,
to rest your weary bones on after a day of gardening,
cut from Luminized Curious Metallic 92 # card stock.

Behind the bench I tucked a birdhouse using
Three little birdies were added using
Impression Obsession Small bird Set.

The flowers are Blooming Violet by Memory Box.
Yellow pearls were added to the flower centers,
which are actually White Pearls, colored with a yellow marker.

My own garden usually has a cat or two roaming around in it,
so to make the card complete I added a cat from
Impression Obsession die set.

Thanks for visiting with me...!!!

Little Goosey Gander

Spring is right around the corner, well actually it is here
but for some reason Michigan doesn't seem to know it yet...lol!!

Maybe I should of said Easter is right around the corner!!
Which is far by more true!!

Which ever, I made a pretty Easter/Spring card for Crafty Secrets this week!
I love this adorable image of a little girl and her goose friend!!
The image came from Creative Scraps Spring/Easter
I added a bit of glitter to the image, which I know you can't see.
But all the flowers and the goose himself are nice and "sparkle-y"!
I used a what I call an embossing panel,
one of those "strip" type folders,
and Cherry Lynn Designs  Horizon Fishtail Banners on
digital papers from Crafty Secrets Pastel Paper Pad and

I dug in my mountains of already cut "stuff"
and pulled out a little picket fence and a hopping bunny.
The little flowers are from my "do-dads" drawer.

I added a sheer polka dot bow,
(I only have a small piece left...boo hoo..I love this ribbon)
and a butterfly!!

Thanks for visiting....
I'll have a new Crafty Secrets post on March 29th...
you won't want to miss it!!
