Dancing Poppies

This is my post at the Dies R Us blog today.
Sorry if I have been slow in visiting you.....
all I can say is I am a bit behind in everything due to "life".....
funny how that seems to get in the way isn't it??
But I will be around...I promise!!

Hello, Diane with you today!
Are you feeling the "springtime" weather yet?
Spring means gardens and flowers to me and flower dies
are one of my favorite to work with.
There are so many different ones to choose from...
from simple to fancy!

I choose a more "simple" die to work with today.
Dancing Poppies by Wild Rose Studio.
I cut the die twice and layered one poppy over the other
creating a bit of a "shadow effect".

For the background I used Spellbinders Radiant Rectangles that I
embossed with a Darice  Butterflies embossing folder.

I stamped the word "POPPIES" on a
Cheery Lynn Designs Sentiment Frame #1.
A "snippet" of ribbon was added to finish!

Thank you for visiting and don't forget we have a challenge blog.....
we would love to have you join us there as well!!

entering the following challenges:
Little Red Wagon .... Spring Is In The Air
Scrapy Land .... ATG with Die
Fan-Tastic Tuesday ....Die/Punch

That darn life stuff! Nevertheless, you made a beautiful card. The red, green, and white contrast is fabulous! Love how you embossed the die cut, too.

Yeah I know the feeling ... If only someone else could take care of everyday things and we could just play ... like when we were kids ... sigh
