Planting Love

This is my post today at the
Tuttis Designs blog.

Happy Thursday to you!

The project I have to share with you today is using the
pretty Butterfly Scroll die shown below.

I made a soft and 'dreamy' card
keeping it easy to mail.

I used an A2 card base and cut a piece of designer paper to
5 1/4" x 4"
doing the same with a piece of dotted Swiss vellum.
The vellum was placed over the designer paper, giving it a softer look.

The sentiment was stamped directly on the vellum with Versamark
(Tip:  You might want to try this with a scrap piece of vellum
and your embossing powder first to see how it will look)
then used a white detail embossing powder and heat set,
once again adding to the 'soft' look of the card.

I then preceded to die cut the scroll,
once in a green and a second time in pink.
I trimmed just the green butterflies off
and added them to the pink ones.
Tiny pearls were added to both the butterflies and the flower centers to complete.

Make sure and check out all the great places to
visit the new Tutti Designs dies.

Thank you for visiting with me today.....
"I" will be here each and every Thursday!!
Come back tomorrow for more fabulous inspiration!

Happy creating!

Diane

I love the dreamy look of vellum and still I hardly use it. This is so pretty, Diane! You have wonderful ideas for the Butterfly Scroll. Guess I should use mine before it's retro. I've been planting a lot of love lately, but it's supposed to rain today. Looking forward to doing some coloring.
