Yep, that happens when you get old, you get a bit boring,
but warm, cozy and safe I guess!!

I try each years end to show my favorites of my card each month.
Kind of helps to get my mojo going for next year.

Here they are in order of month...hope you enjoy them!

If you made it through this far, I would love to wish you and yours a
VERY Happy New Year.....may all your dreams come true!
I will see you next year!!!

Cheers!

It's snowing and blowing and Mother Nature is having  a grand time
of bringing in the 'almost' New Year!
We are to get another 10" of snow today and about a 70% chance
the next six days.....brrrrr!!

I have a fun 'manly' card to share today
which I thought rather perfect being it is 'almost' New Years!

I used a fun cogs and wheels background paper
and die cut a Tutti Designs Nesting Stitched Banner.

I also die cut the Tutti Designs Beer Set,
using a vellum under the beer mug and added Stickles for the foam.

The sentiment was computer printed.

I am off now to finish putting away Christmas....
have a wonderful day!!

Stained Glass 'Love'

Good cold and frosty morning!!
We are to have a 'heat wave' today, it is to be 15 for the high lol!!
we have lots of snow and lots more coming....
good time to be in the crafty room staying cozy!!

Today I have a card I did for Tutti Designs using one of the newly released

After die cutting from black card stock,
I adhered it to a piece of Sparkle N Sprinkle Sticker paper,
them sprinkled with Sparkle N Sprinkle Cloud Nine glitter,
this is a very fine and beautiful glitter and so easy to 'color on.
I used my Copics for that.
After the coloring was done, I popped it on my background panel.

The little 'love' sentiment was tamped, then die cut using
Tutti Designs Nesting Stitched Hearts,

Here is my latest picture of my puppy Mack
He turned 14 weeks today and he is full of puppy antics!!
I love his sweet face and big black nose lol!!

Dreams

Christmas has come and gone, on a whirlwind it seems.
I always say each year I will make it less and less stressful,
but somehow it seems to never happen....
I spent at least 2 solid days in the kitchen, why I don't know lol!
We had 2 of the 5 kids here for dinner and 5 of the 18 grandchildren, and one great,
and not one picture was taken...ugh!
But we did have a wonderful time, so that is what counts.
My hubby was sick though and I pulled my back...so lets hope
that January 1st brings better things!

Just before Christmas Tutti Designs had a Valentine release.
I had 57 cards to design, putting me way behind on all
blog and Christmas activities....but the dies are gorgeous!

This card is from that release
and one of my favorites....not sure why,
maybe because it is so 'dreamy'..lol!

I had bought some new paper packs awhile back and the background paper is
one of them from Ella & Ivy called 'Ethereal"

The die I used is Heart Dream Catcher and is also cut from
the same paper pack.

You can see the entire new release here.

I hope to be back tomorrow with another card!!

Baby, It's Cold Outside

Our last challenge for the year 2017 at Double D Challenges
is being hosted by Team Darlene
with this beautiful mood board and the theme
"Baby It's Cold Outside".

I had a plan for this card!
A plan that went totally elsewhere as I was working on it...
sometimes that happens...
this poor card, I dropped my finished front piece onto my card base.....
so it's sort of 'wonky'.....ugh...it happens...it will have to go to a non card maker...lol!
I could redo, but I'm not, I am not perfect, we all know that!!
However, if you knew me, you would know that these sort of things drive me bonkers....BUT,
my New Year's resolution is to 'let things go...relax, enjoy more...it's NOT life threatening...take a deep breath!!

My inspiration came from the bottom left corner
the nice cup of what I am assuming is cocoa...yum!!

I die cut a negative snowflake and turned this card into a shaker.
I added 'snow' for the 'cold outside' effect.
The cute little mug is a stamp and die from Paper Sweeties.
I added an IO die cut deer onto the mug.
The greeting is also from the same Paper Sweeties stamp set.

I added the crystal clear sequins, of course they picked up a pink color in
the taking of the picture, they reflect everything...lol!

Make sure and visit Double D for all the gorgeous inspiration....
we have a fabulous prize as always!!

White On White Dies R Us Challenge

Hello Merry friends!
It is only 10 days before Christmas, can you believe it?
Today is also the 15th which brings us to a new challenge at
Dies R Us!
The theme is White On White
but it doesn't have to be Christmas,
but I must be in the Christmas 'spirit'
and I went with it!!

I started out by using an embossing folder for the background then
cut a frame from Impression Obsession Rectangle 6 in 1 Frames.

Next I die cut a wreath using Tutti Designs Wreath With Bow.
I coated the wreath with glue using the Nuvo Large glue pen,
then coated that with Sparkling Snow glitter from Sparkle N Sprinkle.
I die cut the bow of the wreath twice separate ,
one from an adhesive craft foam and another from card stock,
which once again I used the glue pen and Sparkling Snow glitter.
A little glitter 'candi' was applied to the bow center.

To finish I die cut a sentiment using
then cut the tiny bird from

That's it....pretty easy!

Looking Like Christmas

A new challenge theme at
with our 'sistah ' Agata being our hostess
and she has chosen the theme of
'Christmas'!

I made a pretty simple card  with papers from Lawn Fawn
and stamps from SU.

I stamped the main sentiment image with Versamark
then SNS Red Apple embossing powder.

I also stamped 3 trees from the same stamp set
Season of Joy (2007)
using my TH Stamp Platform so I could stamp several times.
I popped the trees up in various heights.

I added a white deer and a few sequins to finish.

This will be our last challenge for this year
as the sistahs are taking a holiday break
but we will be back on January 10th
all ready to go.

12 Tags of Christmas With A Feminine Twist Day 5

is an easy one with the theme being 'SNOW'.

I used  a TH Alterations Tag die for the tag base
then embossed with a TH Alterations Snowfall EB folder.

I used India ink to stamp a Hero Arts Snow Much Fun stamp on my tag,
colored in with Copics, then went back and used
Nuvo Crytal Glitter Drops White Blizzard on the snow balls
and snow areas and
Nuvo Crytsal Glitter Drops Sherbert Shimmer on the hat, mittens and scarf!

12 Tags of Christmas With A Feminine Twist Day 4

is a technique challenge 'watercolor'.

For my tag, I die cut a round stitched circle and stamped
a (NBUS) stamp from inkadinkado using India Ink.
I used the TH Stamp Platform to stamp my image 3 times,
giving me a nice clean and perfect image to work with.

I did a very simple watercolor on the wreath using my Zig Clean color brushes.

A bit of Nuvo Silver Moondust Glitter drops
were used to add a bit of sparkle to the Poinsettias.
Moving on To Tag 5!

12 Tags of Christmas With a Feminine Twist Day 3

Here is my tag for Day 3 at the
Ellen Hutson 12 Tags of Christmas With a Feminine Twist
and the theme is 'Naturally Neutral'.

I used a piece of a real wood grain paper for the little stump,
perched a glittery bird on top,
a glittery snowflake and a little clothespin snowflake.
I ran a manila tag through my Cuttlebug,
they used TH Gathered Twigs Distress ink.
Just a simple little tag this time, but all neutral and 'natural'.

I need to get going as they are Day 8 already
which makes me 5 behind!!

Snowman

Since we had our first snow yesterday (only 3")
and about 7 to 9" more to come tonight/tomorrow
I thought it would appropriate to share a snowman card lol!

This card was made for the Tutti Designs Store.
He is really a bit more darker red then he is showing here though.
I used a Tutti Designs Snowman Panel.

I know it's kind of hard to see, but I added a bit of Stickles to each snowflake
and then a row of stickles 'snow' along the edge.
Funny how I hardly ever use my stickles since those wonderful Nuvo drops came along.

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

It's the first Wednesday of the month and that means the start of a new challenge at
Double D Challenges.
Team Diane is hosting and the theme is
'It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas'
and using the colors red and white with a touch of green
using the beautiful mood below for inspiration.

I bought a die a long while back (last year...we make our boards a year in advance)
for this challenge and then decided to go an entirely different way....typical lol!

I really focused on all the details in the mood board
using several, the stitched hearts, white deer, red tree and even the snowflake
and added my 'touch' of green.

For the main image of my card I used a Stampendous stamp that I
just dearly love 'Sweater Square'.
Using the TH stamp platform, I stamped it 3 times until I had the perfect
stamped image using SU Real Red ink.
I then die cut it with a Tutti Designs Nesting Stitched Heart.
I embossed a panel of white card stock to go under it...snowflakes.

Next I cut 2 pine trees, one from a red~white flocked paper
and one from red card stock, stacking them slightly ajar.

I added a RRR ribbon to the top of the card , then added some greens
and a tiny heart.

I die cut a deer and a snowflake,
coated both with a Nuvo Medium Tip glue pen,
then sprinkle with SNS Cloud Nine glitter.

Make sure and visit the Double D challenge blog to see
all the beautiful things from the design teams....WOW
you won't want to miss it...plus we have a fun prize to win!

One Of Those Days

This is my post o the Sparkle N Sprinkle blog today.

Hi, Diane with you today
using one of the newly released stamp sets for November
Cat's Meow and another stamp set Build A Flower (flower pot).

I started out by stamping the images I wanted to use,
coloring them and fussy cutting them out with Tonic 5" Mini Scissors.

For the base of my card I used a Spellbinders Circle die,
folded my card stock in half and just put the die slightly above the fold,
(as shown)

This gives me folded card without cutting it apart.
Next I cut a Spellbinders Scalloped circle to fit over the front of the card.
This will cover up the flat top at the fold, making the card a complete circle.
I also used a tiny hole punch on each scallop.

I added a piece of double sided Tear-ific Tape 1/4"
and sprinkled with Creamsicle glitter.
I placed the kitty in the flower pot.
I cut his tail off as it would of been hidden in the pot
and re-positioned it to show.

For the 'grass' for kitty to lay on,
I added a piece of double sided Tear-ific Tape 1 1/2".
Then sprinkled with Pine Grove Tinsel glitter.
After watching one of Demo Donna's wonderful videos,
I learned then to add another glitter to fill in the tinsel.
I used Elegant Emerald  glitter for that.
I stamped the sentiment with Nuvo Hybrid ink Metro Gray
on a Poppystamp die cut cloud.

Here is how the card looks opened.
